Presentation Ideas: Lists the Haiku Deck Way

Haiku Deck Lists

We remain big believers in limiting the amount of text in your presentations and focusing on one idea per slide, but we’ve heard from many of you that sometimes you need just a bit more to work with. And so….to expand the possibilities for presentation ideas and inspiration, Haiku Deck for iPad and our Web App includes the ability to add simple, beautiful bulleted or numbered lists, like this one.

Presentation Ideas: List with Image Background

To make your list stand out with a photo background (like the example above), tap the blue Image icon, then search for an image or import your own. The text background (which adds a grey screen behind your text to make it easier to read) will be ON by default, but you can toggle it to OFF if you prefer.

  1. Can you make bullets transition in one at a time? I know, Lame. But sometimes it helps the dialogue flow.

    • Hi Andrew! We don’t have this functionality, but if it helps your presentation, you could just use multiple slides (adding a bullet each time).

Sorry to butt in here. I think the absence of builds on the slide is a real strength of HaikuDeck. Content is king, Like the other comment says, individual slides are the best way to introduce individual points.
