Haiku Deck Lists
We remain big believers in limiting the amount of text in your presentations and focusing on one idea per slide, but we’ve heard from many of you that sometimes you need just a bit more to work with. And so….to expand the possibilities for presentation ideas and inspiration, Haiku Deck for iPad and our Web App includes the ability to add simple, beautiful bulleted or numbered lists, like this one.
True to form, we’ve designed these new layouts to help you keep your message focused and bring your ideas to life with beautiful imagery, if you choose.
Click “more” for a step-by-step how-to.
How to Create a List in Haiku Deck
1. Tap the orange Text icon on the left.
2. Select bulleted list or numbered list.
3. Tap each item to add your text, up to 5 items. You can tap Next to quickly advance to the next item on the iPad, or click Return on your keyboard if you’re working on the Web App.

Presentation Ideas: List with Image Background
To make your list stand out with a photo background (like the example above), tap the blue Image icon, then search for an image or import your own. The text background (which adds a grey screen behind your text to make it easier to read) will be ON by default, but you can toggle it to OFF if you prefer.
Presentation Ideas: List with Solid Color Background
To keep the focus squarely on your ideas, or to punctuate your presentation with a pop of high-impact color, you can also select one of ten stylish colors for your background. Tap the solid color icon at the right, then adjust the toggle to ON.
